He has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and brings a wealth of experience to every lesson—both as a performer and teacher. His approach is professional yet approachable, helping students thrive musically and personally.

What levels of flute instruction are offered?

We welcome students at all stages from beginners starting their musical journey to intermediate students refining core technique, to advanced players preparing for competitions, auditions, and college or conservatory admissions.

Absolutely. Our students have won top prizes in national competitions such as the National Flute Association Junior and High School Soloist Competitions. They also serve as principal players in ensembles like the Denver Young Artists Orchestra and the Colorado Youth Symphony. Many have been selected for the Colorado All-State Orchestra, CU Honor Band, and Cherry Creek School District Honor Bands. Several students have also been admitted to top universities and conservatories, often with scholarships ,and supported by their achievements and thorough preparation at the academy.

Do you offer an initial meeting?

Yes. We offer an initial meeting for prospective students. This session includes a brief playing assessment, discussion of goals, and an opportunity to experience the teaching style. It also allows the instructor to determine whether the student is a good fit for the studio’s expectations and level of commitment.

Are group classes available?

While our primary focus is on one on one instruction, we occasionally offer group workshops and masterclasses. These sessions give students a chance to perform for each other, build community, and receive valuable collaborative feedback.
